From Valeria Mameli
This elopement is imagined in my homeland of Sardinia, in one of the most beautiful and unique places: The Pelosa Beach in Stintino.
It is a true Sardinian oasis, with its turquoise waters and white sands. La Pelosa beach is accompanied by an ancient sixteenth-century watchtower, the Torre della Pelosa, that used to be part of Sardinia’s marine defense system.
The colors are warm: copper, orange, cream. Strong materials, such as the wedding dress, a unique piece of Elisabetta Delogu, a talented Sardinian stylist. All the work on this shoot brings a spirit of warmth, freedom, personality, origin, land. Because Sardinia is this thick and I wanted to show it.
